'Since her first documentary, made in 2004 in Bilbao, Silvia Maggi wanted to declare openly what and who would be the subject of her research and her work: the human.
Even if she only express herself, as an artist, through video, and then, by means of a machine, what is most fascinated by the restless mind of this young video artist is made up of feelings of humanity and history. At the centre of her works we find a profound metaphor of reality.
Excellent researcher and narrator Silvia Maggi is proposed in view of the young Italian contemporary art as an experimentalist.
